An Introduction to Tsunado

Tsunado is a system to distribute alerts in a Civil Emergency.

Activated by the relevant authority, the alert is delivered over existing Broadcast Radio Networks. The alert is sounded using a loud piercing sound similar to a smoke alarm.

After a short period the Tsunado alarm turns on an internal radio,  allowing the radio station to deliver the necessary information of the nature of the emergency, and what you should do.

Once the message is finished, the Tsunado alarm turns itself off, to preserve internal battery resources, in case the power has failed.

Behind the scenes, the Tsunado system integrates an alert activated by the Civil Authority and the various Broadcast Networks supporting Tsunado units. This allows the necessary information to be delivered in an efficient and instantaneous manner. from activated to delivery of the message should take no longer than 60 seconds.
