3. SAVE

The primary purpose of the TSUNADO System is to save lives by the quick and efficient delivery of an Alerts, followed by information to tell the public what to do, how best to respond to the current situation.

Alerts without information, such as sirens, can cause confusion as many people are unaware of the reason for the siren. Or they may get the wrong "message" because they know of other sirens for other purposes, such as beach rescue, or volunteer fire brigades.

Even visitors to the region will get the message with a TSUNADO Alert Radio.
